Prostodontics
The prostodontics or prostheses dental is that branch of dentistry that is responsible for returning the function, anatomy, phonation and altered aesthetic Stomatognathic apparatus as a result of the loss of one or more teeth.
A dental prosthesis is an artificial element that is placed in the mouth and is destined to restore lost functionality and aesthetics. These prostheses can be prostheses fixed as a bridge, or prostheses removable if they can be removed. They can also be partial or complete depending on whether they understand a limited number of teeth or all the arch respectively.
